The history of DRIGUS
  • 1984
In October the GUS GbR in Dortmund is founded by three partners Dr. Fricke, Dr. Wollenberg and Dr. Klaas (all employed at the university of Dortmund). Target of the company is the development of software for time study evaluation and plan time generation with the help of regression analysis. The office of the new company is based in Dortmund Aplerbeck.
  • 1986
After initial tests with mobile acquisition systems (HP5000) a cooperation with the stopwatch manufacturer Hanhart is established. An interface between the acquisition system DATAPAC and software MEZA makes it possible to provide the first complete time study system at the market.
  • 1988
The DRIGUS office moves from Aplerbeck to the company-owned villa in Dortmund Hörde Semerteichstraße.
  • 1992
At the begin of the 90s Hanhart retires from developing acquisition systems with PC interface. For this reason DRIGUS starts to join the sector of hardware development and is able to present the new MULTIDATA at the end of 1992. Until today this acquisition system sets standards concerning flexibility and ease of use.
  • 1993
Thereafter the complete software system is upgraded with new features and changed to a standardized SAA-user interface with pull down menus and mouse handling.
  • 1996
By any by all software products are changed to a Windows user interface and now are available in 32 bit technology for Windows 95, 98 and NT as network versions. A further enhancement of flexibility is achieved by developing a new form designer (FORMAS), which enables the user to configure the user interface by designing screen forms, print outputs and most of the data fields used in the system.
  • 2001
The latest hardware development - the acquisition system LINODATA - provides modern technology in a small and compact casing and is specially suited for those users who want to work with a small but powerful time study system. Both MULTIDATA and LINODATA are provided with a color display and can now be operated by a touch screen additional to the keyboard.
  • 2007
MEZA and PLAZET are released as version 8.0 - both with complete new and modern user interface. The structure of the new hierarchical standard catalogue can now also be modified with FORMAS, so the user has the possibility to adapt the software system to the company requirements even better.
  • 2009
In October DRIGUS celebrates the 25th anniversary of the company. In the years 1984 to 2009 many things happened and we succeeded in developing a modern and approved IT system, which made DRIGUS to a leading manufacturer in the area of motion and time management.
  • 2010
The new MULTIDATA 6.0 is released. It is featured with a complete new hardware basing on up-to-date technology and a clearly-arranged Windows user interface with many new features e.g. handwriting recognition during time study and embedding of pictures. USB and ethernet port provide highest flexibility in terms of data interchange with other systems. These properties together with the little weight, the long runtime and the ergonomic design make the new MULTIDATA a top class acquisition system.
  • 2014
The lastest software releases 8.5 offer the possibility to use a tablet pc for time study execution. As add-on to MULTIDATA or as a well-priced starter edition.
  • 2016
Our new software product TAKTOS is launched on the market. This program makes it easy to make optimum use of cycle-based workstations. Thanks to the integration into the DRIGUS system, the times from time studies and planned time modules are available immediately as well as all the necessary characteristic data.
  • 2023
The further development of the software ensures optimum support for your daily work. Tile display, video time recordings and interval time studies are just some of the new features.
